Episode Three
Yes, this post is a day late - I know! Waiting for the Man, people! Called my Bro up yesterday, and left 3 msgs. Texted the guy 3 times, too! When I get no response like that over the course of a day, it usually means that he's just plain old freakin'... dry. Of course, all sorts of shit swims around in my head, like: what if he got busted, what if he won't be able to get anything for like a week or whatever... It's pretty scary. I've got enough connected peeps that I could hook something up relatively quickly, but the idea of cultivating a whole new working relationship from scratch with someone new sucks! It would be months before I ever had access to anything really good - most guys make you buy B-bag crap for a while until you prove your loyalty. Thank you Lordy that he returned my call today. Tunes were all over the map, as usual when he picked me up. Mofo's iPod was on shuffle!

Episode Two
Being eclectic as hell is a dealer's very nature. Think of all those personalities you interact with on a daily basis. I really don't know how my Bro here does it. So many egos, hangups, quirks and all that. You need a big inventory to keep everyone happy - so variety really is the order of the day. And you have to hang with all those people, at least for a bit while a purchase happens, so there isn't an obvious stream of traffic out of an apartment, or in this case, a vehicle. Sometimes you have to circle the block a few times.

Episode One
If Lou Reed had a 'blog back in the day, he likely would have named it "Waiting For The Man", so this isn't the craziest idea to come from the innocent underworld of the great population of those looking to chill, expand their minds, and maybe travel elsewhere for a little bit.
What's more, the guy is on time tonight! He pulls up, I slink in, close the door, and as we speed off, I definitely do up my seat belt - can't be too careful. I'm in luck tonight, he tells me - some nice choices! He's looking around, trying to determine if it's the right place for us to pull over. I'm likely going to have to put in some time here. Small talk is necessary... This all must go down under the guise of genuine social interaction, a raw business transaction isn't cool, and almost deemed offensive in these situations. The next block will be less of a heat score, he mutters, and cranks up the volume of the car stereo....
